Supervision

Caring for the carers:

I have a long-standing interest in supporting people in the helping professions and Christian ministry to flourish and stay the course.

Supervision is an intentional, contractual and confidential process.

By supporting people to maintain wellbeing, spiritual vitality, build resilience, I seek to provide best standards of care, and ethical practice.

What is involved in Supervision?

Supervision normally takes place within a private, confidential space, for an hour on a monthly basis or more regularly as required.

As your supervisor, I offer a safe space to discuss and reflect on your practice, offer support, guidance, encouragement and feedback. The aim of supervision is to improve skills, identify learning needs and attend to self-care needs.

As a supervisee, you would expect to bring areas of your practice for discussion and reflection with openness and a genuine desire to learn and grow. Clear goals and objectives for each session would be established at the outset.

I am committed to monthly supervision for my own practice, ongoing professional development and seek to abide by upholding standards of ethical practice.

Costs

Fees are $95 per one hour appointment or by mutual agreement depending on individual circumstances and are payable on the day by cash or internet banking.  For cancelled appointments with less than 24 hours notice, half the applicable fee may be required.
